News: Jennifer Mocol-Johnson Joins Young Environmental

We are excited to introduce Jennifer Mocol-Johnson as the Water and Natural Resources Program Manager at Young Environmental! With more than 20 years of experience in diverse sectors and a broad range of roles, she will be overseeing operations of project teams at Young Environmental. Her skills in process management, organizational effectiveness, project and program management, and team motivation will allow us to continuously improve the client experience for every project.

As Program Manager, she will help the company evolve in implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), using data-driven decision-making and team mentoring to intentionally deliver practical solutions. From her roles as a Board Conservationist with the State of Minnesota to a Managing Senior Technical Consultant in the private sector, Jennifer brings a strong understanding of project development and success. Congrats, Jennifer!

  • Hometown: Jennifer is a native of Mankato, MN, growing up near Minnesota State University, Mankato.

  • Education: Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and geography with a minor in natural resources management. Her master’s degree in urban planning.

  • Family: Jennifer enjoys life with her husband, two teenagers, two cats, and their rescue dog.

  • Favorite Hobby: As the family travel agent, Jennifer has planned trips to Munich, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, and New Zealand, complete with daily itineraries and bus schedules!

  • Favorite Season: As a gardener, she loves spring and is waiting for tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and herbs to sprout in her yard.
